Get ready to tee off between the bookshelves at Desert Foothills Library’s inaugural Puttin’ Through the Pages fundraiser on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 2 PM to 4 PM!
This one-of-a-kind, family-friendly event will transform the library into a lively miniature golf course, with fun putting challenges winding throughout the library stacks. Guests of all ages are invited to enjoy an afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, community spirit, and plenty of surprises along the way.
In addition to mini golf inside the library, attendees can look forward to delicious snacks, creative golf-themed desserts, and interactive spaces designed to bring families and neighbors together in a fun and welcoming environment.
“Puttin’ Through the Pages is all about celebrating community, literacy, and fun in a truly unique way,” said DFL Executive Director Melissa Steimer. “When else would you have the chance to play miniature golf in a library? We hope families, friends, and community members of all ages will join us for this inaugural event and help support the library while making wonderful memories together.”
More than just a fun afternoon, Puttin’ Through the Pages supports the library’s mission to inspire learning, connection, and lifelong discovery throughout our community. Desert Foothills Library is the only patron-supported nonprofit library in Maricopa County.
