Meeting Room Rental FAQs

Yes, we do charge an hourly rate and that depends on many factors, including but not limited to, which room is needed, what type of event, technology equipment needed, etc.

Study rooms are available on a first-come first-served basis to the public but if you would like guaranteed time in the study rooms you must make a reservation with the Programming Librarian.

A $50.00 deposit is due at time of booking and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to event. We take checks made payable to Desert Foothills Library Association, credit card, or cash.

The deposit is non-refundable and if the cancellation is 30 days prior to the event you will receive a refund for the remaining balance. Any cancellations under 30 days to the event is non-refundable.

Yes, we allow you to bring outside food and drink to your event provided you clean up after the event.

We offer a promotional package for $50.00 per event at the library. Ask for more details from the Programming Librarian.

We book multiple programs and events per day at the library and we cannot allow early entrance into the room. Setup time, 30 minutes, and Breakdown time, 30 minutes, must be included in the room rental.

Reading Nooks

In addition to our meeting and study spaces, we have several welcoming reading nooks with comfortable chairs, side tables and work desks … all furnished with beautiful artwork by our local Sonoran Arts League.

Just for teens, we have the Teen Room: Club 11/17 and a special reading corner for the kids in the children’s section.

So grab a book, pick up a magazine, pop in a CD and relax in our quiet, inviting reading nooks!
