Help us fight hunger while waiving your overdue fines!
We frequently collaborate with the Foothills FoodBank to help you pay off overdue fines on your account by donating non-perishable food items to the Desert Foothills Library.
For each item donated, the Library will waive $2.00 in overdue fines, up to $50 per account. Eligible fines for the waiver include overdue, processing and restocking fees (other fine/fees not included in this event).
Items such as peanut butter and jelly, mac and cheese, tuna fish, cereal and canned vegetables are always needed and in high demand. Contact the Foothills Foodbank for more specific needs at 480-488-1145 or view their wish list on their website.
For those without fines, your donation will help waive overdue fines on a child’s account.
