We are happy to bring you some good news today! We’ve expanded our collection of digital materials that are available through Overdrive and Libby!  In other words, you can use your Desert Foothills Library Card to access e-books and e-audiobooks from our three partner libraries. Here’s how!

From the Web (not using an app)

  1. Visit Little Libraries That Could.
  2. Sign in to your account using your library card number.
  3. Near the very top of the page, there is a drop down menu for visiting our Partner Libraries.
  4. Click on any one of our Partner Libraries to navigate to their digital collection.
  5. Borrow materials as usual.

From the Overdrive App

  1. Open the Overdrive app.
  2. Click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner. (This is called a hamburger, by the way).
  3. When the drop-down menu appears, click on Partner Libraries.
  4. Select one or our partner libraries: Southwest Valley Library Consortium, Tempe Public Library, or Yuma County Library District.
  5. Borrow materials as usual.

From the Libby App

Directions coming soon. For now, use the web access instructions above.

If you haven’t also explored our newest reading app, head over to cloudLibrary to learn more.  Though we cannot serve you face to face at this moment in time, please reach out with questions using the Ask A Librarian feature. We’re more than happy to help.
