WELCOME TO THE TEEN CORNER

Volunteer

Desert Foothills Library has a robust Teen Volunteer Program. Many of our teen volunteers work regular 2 hour shifts throughout the week. Volunteers participate in many tasks, from sorting and shelving to decorating and creating displays to helping with events.

You must be 14 to 17 to apply.
Teens and Tweens 12-17 are welcome to join the Teen Advisory Board, which meets monthly on Tuesdays. Please check the online calendar for dates and times.

For Summer Reading Program (June and July) Volunteers:
Applications accepted from April 1 – 30th
Able to work a minimum of 15 total hours between June and July
Earn community service hours

For School Year (August – May) Volunteers:
Applications accepted in August and September only.
Volunteer weekly, biweekly or once a month
1 0r 2-hour shifts available
Earn community service hours
